Tea, Tunes and Company is a unique companionship and music service created for elderly individuals or couples who may benefit from connection, conversation and the comfort that music can bring.

Founded by Hannah Cressey, creator of Once Upon a Tune, these relaxed one-hour home visits are designed to offer meaningful companionship through music, conversation and shared moments together.

The inspiration behind Tea, Tunes and Company comes from Hannah’s late Nana, Marion. Towards the end of her life whilst living in a care home, Hannah spent countless hours with her singing, playing music and simply enjoying each other’s company. Even when so much else faded, the music remained — bringing comfort, familiarity, emotion and connection in the most remarkable way.

Those precious moments became the inspiration behind Once Upon a Tune, and now this very special service.

Each visit is gentle, personal and completely centred around the individual. Hannah will pop the kettle on, make a cup of tea, enjoy a chat, sing and play piano in the comfort of your own home.

Whether it’s singing along to favourite songs, reminiscing over treasured memories sparked by music, or simply enjoying peaceful live piano music whilst chatting together, every visit is shaped naturally around the person and what brings them joy.

Tea, Tunes and Company is not about putting on a performance — it’s about creating meaningful moments of connection, warmth and companionship through music.

These visits may be especially beneficial for individuals who:

• Live alone
• Feel isolated or lonely
• Are unable to get out and socialise easily
• Have a love of music and singing
• Would benefit from gentle companionship and conversation

As a classically trained pianist, singer, qualified teacher and founder of Once Upon a Tune, Hannah combines her professional experience with genuine warmth and compassion to create visits that feel relaxed, uplifting and personal.
