Music is such a powerful way to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children — and my sessions are designed to do exactly that. I visit nurseries, playgroups, childminders, preschools, and schools (Reception and KS1), bringing engaging, hands-on music experiences tailored to each setting.

 

I can plan sessions to link directly with your current learning focus, or design my own themed sessions filled with songs, props, instruments, and musical games. Whether you’d like a one-off visit for some musical fun, or regular sessions that help develop skills in line with the EYFS or National Curriculum, I’ll create something that fits perfectly for your children and your setting.

 

There are lots of ways to enjoy a session with Once Upon a Tune. You might want to give children the opportunity to explore a wide range of instruments with the guidance of a professional musician, or you may prefer a more structured session with songs, activities, and interactive storytelling.

 

I’m also a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching in both EYFS and KS1, which means I can adapt the planning and delivery to suit the needs of all learners — ensuring every child can participate, engage, and shine.

 

I always work closely with each setting to make sure every session runs smoothly and fits your routine — whether that’s a large group, or smaller sessions for different age groups throughout the hour.

 

Sessions start at £55 for an hour, and this time can be adapted however best suits your needs — as one full session or divided into shorter sessions for multiple groups. If you’d like your session to be planned around your current learning focus, these are £70 per hour due to the additional preparation involved.

 

For school visits, pricing starts at £120 for a morning, depending on the number of classes and your specific requirements. A small travel fee also applies, depending on location.

 

I aim to keep my prices fair because I want to make live music experiences accessible to as many children and settings as possible.
