Early Years Settings

The early years are a magical time for curiosity, learning, and discovery — and music is one of the most powerful tools to support a child’s development. At Once Upon a Tune, I bring live classical piano into nurseries, preschools, and children’s hospices, creating engaging, interactive sessions that nurture language, movement, and imagination.

Each 45-minute session blends classical music with playful singalongs, sensory props, and percussion instruments, encouraging children to explore rhythm, melody, and sound. Sessions are carefully planned to match the abilities and interests of each group, ensuring every child can join in with confidence and joy.

With a background as a qualified early years teacher and a classically trained pianist, I understand how to create a warm, inclusive environment where music becomes a bridge to learning and connection. Whether it’s clapping to a beat, exploring an instrument, or simply listening and imagining, these sessions inspire children to engage their senses and share in the joy of music.

🎵 Music that inspires, excites, and helps young minds grow.

“We had an amazing morning having Hannah visit our setting with Once Upon a Tune. To engage all the children from ages 10 months to 4 years is a real talent and it was wonderful watching all the children clap, wriggle and request songs too. She has such a fantastic talent and her piano playing is beautiful. The adults enjoyed it as much as the children. We can't wait to have Hannah and Once Upon a Tune back".
